The Science Slam for Materials Researchers returns this summer for its third edition. The event is jointly organized by MRD, CRC 1625, the Institute for Materials and RC FEMS, and will be hosted by Maxim Cherkashin.
Join us on June 11 at 5:00 PM in the ZGH Atrium for an evening of engaging science communication.
We invite Master students, PhD candidates and early career postdoctoral researchers in materials science or related fields to take the stage and present their research in a lively and entertaining way.
Each presentation should be no longer than seven minutes. The format is flexible and participants can choose to present with or without slides.
To support participants in preparing their presentations, we offer the workshop “Science Slam: Creative Ideas with Impact!” led by Julie Stearns on May 22 at Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
The winner of the Science Slam will be chosen by the audience. After the award, we will celebrate with pizza and drinks.
