The Bochum researcher is one of the most influential and innovative personalities in the field of optics and photonics.

Prof. Dr. Andreas Ostendorf (Chair for Applied Laser Technologies at the Ruhr University) has been included in the prestigious Photonics 100 list for 2025. This award recognizes the 100 most influential and innovative personalities in the field of optics and photonics. The Photonics 100 has been published for three years by the trade magazine “Electro Optics” from the publisher Europa Science.
